The site’s home page offers many unique resources for users to take advantage of including the library’s live hours, a news section, and upcoming events. Below that, patron’s will find a custom book list with recent and recommended books tailored specifically from their searches. The homepage also includes a module with the notable e-resources and a section with the library’s social media feeds.
The other pages of the website were also designed to improve ease of use. One of these pages is the interactive events page. Here, users can view a calendar of all upcoming library events, and they have the ability to filter the calendar by the event categories or by the library branch. By clicking on an event on the calendar, users are able to register for the event and learn more.
This page was designed specifically with Ipswich Public Libary’s needs in mind. It provides content and resources geared towards helping families make the most of their library. The page includes a section for popular links, upcoming events, and a module with trending children’s books titles. The website’s teen page follows a similar format to help young adults find the books and online material that they are looking for.
